With its parent company, Knapheide GmbH Hydraulikysteme in Beckum, and diverse specialised companies for precision turning, hydraulic hoses, hose technology, materials handling, and electrohydraulic control and process engineering, the group is capable of offering everything "made in Germany" from one source and without delay.
Knapheide began in 1967 with hydraulic components for international mining, and later with manufacturing. In recent years Knapheide has developed from a well-known manufacturer of hose lines, fittings, soldering fittings, and valves, into an optimally-diversified supplier for individualised and modern, complete solutions.
Flexibility, reliability, and efficiency through individual engineering have contributed to a consistent increase in the market share. At the same time, the requirements and demands of increasingly-automated machine construction have continued to grow.
Today the whole group of companies employs a workforce of about 850 on some 45,000 m² of production halls, and supplies manufacturers of machines with hydraulic applications throughout the world.
